Join us for the 2nd performance of our “Listen Locally: The 115th Anniversary” series. The Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra presents a full program culminating in Copland’s tribute to our 16th President. The piece incorporates some of Lincoln’s most stirring oratory. Joining the ranks of distinguished orators, KDKA’s Lynne Hayes-Freeland will narrate.

“Love, I Hear: The Lyrics of Stephen Sondheim” explores a personal journey of the highs and lows of love and relationships, as told through the exquisite lyrics of Stephen Sondheim, sung by Gavan Pamer and accompanied by Kathleen Billie (piano) and Freya Samuels (cello).
